Waterford Animal Welfare responded to a call from the Gardaí in Dungarvan on the 2nd of March 2014 in relation to a foal abandoned on waste land. James, as he is now known, was left to fend for himself. Also in the field was the remains of another young horse who had died from the result of neglect! With the help of the Gardaí the WAW welfare officers seized James and brought him to the care of My Lovely Horse Rescue. On inspection Jame's, approx 2 yrs old,  presented with a body score of 2 and was covered in lice and had a heavy worm burden! James arrived to a nice warm bed of straw and has settled well under the care of My Lovely Horse Rescue! James will never spend another lonely night on his own without having a full tummy. On and up for this lucky boy.
